Joseph Hoffman came to Trio to lead our Marketing and Merchandising efforts and provide strategic direction in the growth of Trio. His responsibilities include advertising, increasing market share, and increasing Trio’s presence in the Lehigh Valley. Joe was previously corporate Vice President of the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea company (A&P), sales consultant for Better Beef, Inc, and Sales Manager for DMOB (Division of Highland Homes).

Joe received his BS in Biology from Cornell and continuing education classes with Cornell University. Joseph was also
an instructor at Kingsborough College Center for Marine Development and Research, as well as a member of the Board of Directors PFTO.

Despite his extensive sales and marketing experience, you
will often find Joe in the plant preparing the meats because
he enjoys “getting back to his roots”.

Dan Ring established Trio Provisions, with his wife Hope, in 1996. Dan and Hope observed the need for a local provisions company in the Lehigh Valley better-suited to meet the needs of the local restaurants.

Dan thoroughly enjoys stock car and auto racing, and over the years has become known as “Dan the Meat Man” to many of the drivers. When not running his company, you can find him down at the track feeding them and hanging with some of the teams. If you ask them, they’ll tell you that Trio is their favorite place to get food in the Lehigh Valley.

Dan is an experienced butcher and has worked in the provisions industry for over 20 years. Prior to creating Trio, he worked for another provisions company where he held positions of increasing responsibility, eventually becoming Territory Manager. In that capacity he was accountable for sales functions and new business development.

Hope Ring established Trio Provisions with her husband Dan in 1996. Hope is known as “the voice” of Trio, and is the director of all client services and operations. She is intimately involved in all the customer service and cares about each customer. Hope’s previous training was as a Registered Nurse (RN). She brings the same attention to detail and people skills to her customer service at Trio that made her successful as a nurse.

Hope received her Bachleors from Northhampton Community College.
